These lamps have been developed to provide an artificial ultraviolet light UV source, essential to captive birds without exposure to the direct sunlight. Multiple studies show that the use of a light source that mimics natural sunlight UV content get the health benefits, and provides the birds a more natural vision of your environment, encouraging natural behaviour and often better results in the reproduction.
The tubes are manufactured with special phosphor that emit a pattern of light ideal for birds as it radiates a 12% of grapes and a 2.4% UVB. It has a 5600 K color temperature.
