PhosguardPhosguard is a product of filtration of high capacity and efficiency to Remove phosphates and silicates in aquariums in fresh or salt water. It is not recommended for aquariums of freshwater where they are necearios phosphates. Unlike competing products, one of the characteristics of PhosGuard is their spherical shape and its exceptional porosity which increases its performance. It can be used in continuous or intermittent, and it used no phosphates. This chemical filter will produce a decline in the growth of filamentous algae and an increase in the development of the corals. Each liter is up to 1.200 liters. Instructions: this product should be used within a filter bag. To obtain best results Phosguard must be in a place of maximum passage of water. It may be a filter of bottle, filter box or more passage of water from the wet dry area. After 4 days of use, to measure the concentrations of phosphates and silicates in the water. If the concentration of the component you are trying to decrease has not lowered to values close to 0.02 mg/l, the Phosguard should be replaced. A bag with 100 ml of the product treated up to 120 litres, depending on the initial concentration of phosphates and silicates and biological load. It is not recommended sobredosificar. Phosguard is not a resin of Exchange and does not release anything in the water. It returns phosphates or silicates into the water and can be removed, dried and returned to use until it runs out. However it is better to use small quantities permanently to great intermittently. Caution: you can generate heat in the first contact with the water. Wet before use at twice its volume of water (250 ml of product in 500 ml of water) and then clarified.
