Denosyl improves liver function in dogs and cats.Nutritional supplement therapeutic specially formulated to help the liver function in dogs and cats with liver problems. Manufactured by Bioiberica veterinary. The use of this product is recommended for cats with liver lipidosis, colangiohepatitis or liver failure. In dogs with chronic liver disease and liver reactive diseases (treatment long with non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, steroids, anticonvulsants, treatment against leishmania). In dogs and cats with liver due to poison damage or when suspected of liver injury for various reasons. S-adenosilmetionina (same) participates in the formation of glutathione, the most important liver detoxificador. When the liver is not working normally, it reduces the natural production of SAMs and consequently also decreased levels of glutathione. Glutathione is responsible for eliminating certain toxic liver compounds that favors its excretion. This product also helps to stabilise membranes from liver cells and facilitates the process of detoxification of bile acids. Each pill contains: Denosyl 90 (cats and dogs under 11 kg), S-Adenosilmetionina (SAMe) 90 mg, Denosyl 225 (dogs over the age of 11 kg), S-Adenosilmetionina (SAMe) 225 mg, Denosyl 425 (dogs over the age of 16 kg) S-Adenosilmetionina (SAMe) 425 mg. Instructions for use: For optimal absorption, is recommended to administer the tablets on an empty stomach, at least one hour before meals and preferably in the morning. Unless you can administer only compressed, mixed with a little meat or similar. The tablets should be integers, that are coated to be gastrorresistentes. In the case of having to manage more than one compressed, recommends to deliver doses at 2, in the morning and another at night. Cats, recommended facilitating a little water after taking the pill. Duration of treatment: the duration of treatment varies depending on the pathology and response of the patient. In general they tend to be 1 to 4 months treatment, and may be more prolonged in patients with chronic diseases.
