IRC-Vet complement for chronic renal insufficiency for cats and dogs.Therapeutic nutritional supplement specially indicated as an adjunct therapy in dogs and cats with chronic renal failure. It slows down the progression of the disease. Manufactured by Farmadiet veterinary laboratory. The formula complete with Quercetin, Trans-Resveratrol in extract of Polygonum cuspidatum, folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12, dry extract of artichokes with 2.5% of Cinarina and aluminum hydroxide acts as citoprotector renal, anti-inflammatory and enteric phosphorus binders, helping damaged kidneys to perform their functions. IRC-Vet acts as phosphorus binders, i.e. joins specifically phosphorus diet on intestine, decreasing intestinal absorption, so it decreases its presence in the blood, relieving the damaged kidneys. This phosphorus is eliminated by the feces instead of urine. It is effective both in normal diets and prescription, regardless of the content of phosphorus in the diet. The vitamins of Group B (B6 and B12) helps to normalize the deficiencies of vitamins and reduce the symptoms of the disease progression. The chronic kidney disease is one of the more common in dogs and cats diseases, especially in older animals. Symptoms are usually negligible and non-specific, so, when it is diagnosed the kidneys are damaged and it can not return to recover its normal function. Therefore measures of treatment is recommended to manage a diet controlled with low content in proteins, phosphorus and sodium and the use of products to prevent the progression of the disease, extending the life of the animal as much as possible. Tablets composition: Transresveratrol 100 mg, 120 mg of dry extract of 2.5% artichokes cinarina, aluminium hydroxide 100 mg, 10 mg Quercetin, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) 134 mcg 1.34 mg of folic acid, 0.66 mcg of vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin). Instructions for use: manage the pills directly in the mouth of the animal or mixed with your usual meal. It is preferable to administer it together with food. Remember to leave clean, fresh water at all times available for your pet to facilitate kidney function and avoid dehydration. Dosage:
