Sponge replacement for the internal filter for easy cleaning Eheim Pick up. This game of sponges is mechanical filtration. It has a network of fibers that they retain more coarse particles suspended in the water of the Aquarium, as remains of food, stool, etc. It is a product of the brand Eheim, leading German company worldwide in the sector of the acuariofilia, guarantees an excellent quality and durability. Maintenance of the filter is very fast and easy thanks to its removable drive, just extract the container of the filter which houses the refills (sponge and coal), the cable and the engine remaining in the Aquarium.
Filter materials on a regular basis you must change to keep the aquarium water in perfect condition. Change sponges every 4-6 weeks, depending on the population of fish in the Aquarium. Never change all cartridges at the same time, to prevent the destruction of beneficial bacterial population of the Aquarium.
