Optimal weekly weight loss is from 0.5 to 3%. It is essential to ensure that the cat has eaten the ration to avoid a risk of hepatic lipidosis. Once reached the ideal weight, will be Young Male s/O, Young Female s/O, Skin Young Female or Young Male Skin, Mature s/O to maintain optimal weight. -A high protein content (> 110 g/1000kcal) ensures the maintenance of muscle mass.

Proteins have a lower energy availability that carbohydrates: given a level of equivalent metabolisable energy, proteins provide 30% less net energy than carbohydrates.
