Sand bath for chinchillas XtraVital.This sand is specially made to ensure that your chinchilla hair is kept in perfect condition. Absorbs excess fat and moisture from the hair, leaving it clean and smooth. Its special texture makes it easy to shake but without creating much dust. The chinchillas should never bathe with water because damaged fur. These animals in their natural hábitad live in a very dry atmosphere without only water. Sand baths are involved to keep their fur clean. You must provide your chinchilla a sand bath to make their bathrooms. The frequency of the bathroom is usually every 3 or 4 days. The bath should be used between 5 and 10 minutes, then must withdraw, as if we leave the sand continuously in the cage, at the end becomes the particular toilet of the animal. While it is true that many animals like do your needs after a relaxing bath. If this happens, remove waste, and save the rest of the arena for the next time. It is advisable to change the sand bath every 2 or 3 months, properly disinfecting the bathtub. Available in 2 liter bottles.
